There are a wide variety of reasons why it's not working for you guys and without more detailed information it makes it harder for people to fix the problem. It might be a driver causing the BSOD (good thing you didn't include any details that could help answer it). How long have you had your OS's installed for? It could be a case of bit rot. Thousands of Origin users with no problems but because a few people have an issue then it's automatically Origin's fault and not something else.Īnd EA is not giving up on and ccrogers15 While I have no issues buying it off Steam (and only a small twinge risking not being able to run it), YOU CANNOT BUY IT OFF STEAM DOWN-UNDER.Ībsurd, huh? So I am STUCK with this Origin sh!te.

The lacklustre level of support and the fact that they are using Steam as well certainly does suggest they have no interest in spending money on Origin, that it was just a quick-n-dirty way of making some extra money out of some people who CAN actually install it (remember, they get to keep a lot more money if they do the sale themselves rather than through Steam or a store) without actually stopping sales to others.Īs I said, that it's a piece of junk doesn't surprise me - I remember that PoS that Ubisoft released all those months ago, which I still despise, but at least now it works - what I am surprised by is the cavalier attitude of "Oh, can't use it, aww, diddums, don't bother us with your problems, just return it." It would explain why more of there games keep appearing on Steam. Which is why EA is probably giving up on it.
